KIMBALL STROUD
PRESIDENT
Ms. Stroud began her political career in Washington as Manager of Special Events at the 1992 Inaugural Committee for President William Jefferson Clinton. After her work at PIC, she joined the fundraising team at the Democratic National Committee as Southern Finance Director and then as the Director of National Fundraising for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Following her committee work, she served as Senator Barbara Boxer’s National Finance Director for the 1998 and 2004 election cycles. She started her own firm, Kimball Stroud & Associates, Inc. in January 1999. The firm has worked for many high-profile elected officials including former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Leader Nancy Pelosi, and the Blue Dog Coalition.
She has served as a fundraising consultant and event manager for several non-profit organizations including The Edward M. Kennedy Center for the Study of the United States Senate, The Faith & Politics Institute, The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, The Roosevelt Institute, The LBJ Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, The Creative Coalition, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, The Chef’s Action Network, Children’s National Foundation, The American Film Institute, and The National Park Service.
Stroud’s corporate client list includes Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX, AT&T, Altria, Walmart, Nuclear Energy Institute, Hearst magazine, ELLE, Dior, Michael Kors, The Washington Kastles, United Talent Agency, Funny or Die, T-Mobile, Entertainment Software Association, InterDigital, Yahoo!, Peet’s Coffee & Teas, Cosmopolitan, Sprout Pharmaceuticals, and TBS.

Liz Sizer joined KSA at the beginning of 2019, bringing more than 15 years of special event experience to the team.
She got her start in special events at Campbell, Peachey & Associates, where she helped plan and execute a full calendar of high-profile events including The Kennedy Center Honors, the Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre Gala, among others. She then spent four seasons with The Washington Ballet as Director of Special Events and Strategic Partnerships. She specializes in event management and production, strategic partnerships and audience development, public relations and strategic media placement, and celebrity engagement.
MARIE
SMEALLIE
Marie Smeallie joined KSA after moving back to her hometown of Washington, D.C. Prior to that, she spent several years in Nashville working in artist management, digital media, and event coordination with some of the biggest agencies in Music City. Marie has been a consultant for The Artists and Athletes Alliance, Ripple Effect Images, Xenophon Strategies, and the Environmental Film Festival and her work projects include the ESPY Awards Celebrity Kickoff Pre-Party in Los Angeles, the International Day of the Girl Event, and the premiere screening of “The Lost City of Z.”
BRANDON
TUSKES
Brandon Tuskes joined KSA in 2023 after graduating from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is originally from Buffalo, NY and brings with him years of experience in the service industry.
Previously working on New York State Senate campaigns and in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Brandon has spent much of his young adult life working in and around politics.

WISNIEWSKA
Basia approaches every task with enthusiasm and care while offering thoughtful attention in providing customer service. These qualities led a frequent collaborator to recommend her to KSA in 2018.
She originally hails from Poland where she earned her Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Preservation. Feeding her sense of adventure, she immigrated to the United States in 2014. Still up for an adventure, she also holds her license as a hot air balloon pilot.
